The Gulfstream G450

Compare All Models » Unparalleled Performance

The Gulfstream GIV earned a loyal following for its reliability, speed and versatility, making it one of the best-selling business jets of all time.

That lineage of performance is embedded in its successor, the Gulfstream G450, a high-performance, stylish aircraft equipped to meet the demands of international travel. Cross a continent. Cruise at Mach 0.80. Fly with a team of 16 people. The G450 makes all that possible and more.

The Gulfstream G450 Range

Go The Distance

The G450 combines long-range capabilities with ample payload.

With eight passengers, the G450 flies nonstop from New York to São Paulo, Brazil, with miles to spare before reaching its maximum range of 4,350 nautical miles/8,056 kilometers.

Load the G450 with 14 people, their luggage and another 2,000 pounds/907 kilograms of payload, and the large-cabin aircraft still has range for a 3,700 nm/6,852 km trip, the geographical equivalent of flying from Singapore to Dubai.

  • 0.80 Mach

  • 4,350 Range (NM)
Range with 8 passengers, 3 crew, NBAA IFR reserves. Actual range will be affected by ATC routing, operating speed, weather, outfitting options and other factors.

The G450 Capacity

back to top Equipped For More, Packed With Extras

Functionality is a mainstay of the Gulfstream G450. This is an aircraft that offers more payload, more cabin configurations and has a cockpit equipped with advanced guidance systems, some of which aren’t even available outside the Gulfstream fleet.

The G450 also has an industry-leading time between overhaul (TBO) of 12,000 hours on its Rolls-Royce engines.

All in all, the G450 is a jet so well-designed and so comprehensively equipped the 2012 Robb Report named it the large aircraft Best of the Best winner.

The G450 Interior

Flexible Plan, Signature Style

Personal choice is a hallmark of Gulfstream, and the Gulfstream G450 offers six select cabin layouts that seat up to 16 passengers and can berth up to six.

The cabin is roomy enough for three living areas, two lavatories and a full-size galley, which can be located forward or aft. From there, owners work with a Gulfstream designer to create a signature style that best reflects who they are, what they’ve accomplished and where they’re going.

Fresh, Quiet And Bright

Loading the player...

Every smart executive looks for a business edge. A Gulfstream cabin interior provides one.

One hundred percent fresh air is circulated through the cabin every two minutes, and in the G450, the interior environment is pressurized to 6,000 feet/1,829 meters at a cruise altitude of 45,000 ft/13,716 m―another best-in-class feature. Why does that matter? Fresh air and a lower cabin altitude improve oxygen delivery in the body, which reduces fatigue and increases alertness and productivity.

Fatigue is also countered by a quieter cabin. Advanced sound suppression in the G450 improves cabin sound levels by 18 percent over its predecessor. Another boost to productivity comes from 12 Gulfstream signature oval windows, which give the G450 twice the natural light of other aircraft in its class.

Completely Connected

If business is a priority, the G450 cabin is ready to go to work.

A seven-channel Honeywell satellite communications system simultaneously handles phone and modem transmissions. A satellite phone, wireless local network and multifunction printer are standard, too.

The G450 Technology

Gulfstream G450

Computer-Enhanced, Standard Issue

The most advanced technology comes standard issue in the Gulfstream G450 PlaneView cockpit. Four multifunction 14-inch liquid crystal display units provide layers of data such as interactive navigation, electronic approach charts, and satellite and radar weather images. Colorful graphics paired with well-organized, streamlined data improve pilots’ situational awareness and their ability to respond to changing conditions.

Ease of use is further accomplished with Gulfstream’s Enhanced Vision System (EVS) and Head-Up Display (HUD).

For maximum efficiency and response, the HUD displays altitude and other primary flight information on a wide, clear screen in the pilot’s forward field of vision.

With the EVS system, an infrared nose-mounted camera detects runway markers, landscape and other topographical details at night or in low visibility conditions that the human eye can’t. The enhanced images are projected onto the pilot’s HUD.

Autothrottle is also standard in the G450 and provides operational control through all phases of flight, which improves engine performance and increases fuel efficiency.

For an added level of awareness, a three-camera Securaplane video monitoring systems helps crew and passengers stay alert to what’s happening around them.

The G450 also can be equipped with optional Synthetic Vision-Primary Flight Display (SV-PFD), which provides three-dimensional images of terrain layered with primary flight information.
