Step 1: Application
You apply to the open position. New positions are posted on Thursdays. There can be a timeliness factor, so try to apply the same week the position is posted.
- All positions must be posted for at least a week (Thursday-Thursday), but may be posted for longer periods of time.
- Applicant resumes are screened by a recruiter no more than 10 days after the posting period ends.
Step 2: Application Review
A hiring manager reviews your application. Based on your application, the hiring manager will decide whether or not you'll be selected for an interview.
- Resumes of applicants who meet the pre-requisites for a position are forwarded to the hiring manager for review.
- The hiring manager reviews the resumes of those who meet the position's minimum requirements within 5 to 7 days.
Step 3: Interviews
If you're selected for an interview, a recruiter will be in contact to set up the time and date. You'll interview with the hiring manager. This is generally a telephone interview first, followed by an in-person interview as needed.
- The hiring manager selects the candidates who will move forward in the process. The hiring manager decides whether to conduct a telephone or in-person interview.
- The recruiter contacts the candidates selected by the hiring manager for a telephone or in-person interview. If the hiring manager is impressed by the candidate after a telephone interview, then the recruiter will schedule an in-person interview.
Step 4: Decision
The hiring manager evaluates you among all of the candidates who interviewed for the position. He or she then decides who may receive an employment offer.
- Candidates who are not selected to move forward in the process are notified by e-mail.
- When the individual interviews are completed, the hiring manager will inform the recruiter of his or her decision.
Step 5: Offer
If selected, you'll receive a formal employment offer to join Gulfstream. Congratulations! This is a highly sought-after opportunity.
- The recruiter extends an offer to the candidate selected for the position.
- The candidate has five business days to accept or decline the offer.
