Sam Grant has been employed by Gulfstream for over 19 years and has obtained a vast knowledge of the company's business practices and is one of the original Customer Program Managers here in Savannah. Sam received his education from Georgia Southern University where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Management with a minor in Industrial Engineering. While working as an industrial engineer, he performed method and productivity improvements, competitive analysis and designed layouts for maximum floor space usage and product flow. As a production manager, Sam supervised three areas in production, including the tail section, center-mid and the drivematic departments. His responsibilities included productivity improvements, staffing analysis, computer simulation programming and scheduling personnel for maximum production rate. He was among the first customer account mangers in which he communicated production, completion and service milestones to clients. He also acted as liaison within the company to help integrate Dallas and Appleton facilities. Sam has a strong understanding of the organization and the client from a holistic perspective.
