Mylene Dempsey:
Mylene Dempsey, who has over 22 years of experience
in the aerospace industry, has joined the Customer
Program Management team as of October 2006. She started at Gulfstream in 1996 as a Subcontract Administrator for initial phase purchasing. In this role, she worked closely with production, engineering and programs to manage supplier contracts and the resolution of production and in-service issues for various large cabin aircraft avionics components, major structures (including the G500/550 empennage), the G350/450 flap actuation system and universal radome, as well as the throttle quadrant, pedestal, SATCOM antenna and various valves, overlays, disconnects, struts, RVDT’s and O2 bottles for both the G350/450 and the G500/550 aircraft. Mylene has a strong international background. She has traveled extensively in support of several European based major suppliers and she was the Gulfstream purchasing representative in Israel for the mid cabin aircraft product line. Mylene has also participated extensively in Gulfstream’s new product development activities, actually working in the new Gulfstream Research and Design Center. Prior to coming to Gulfstream, Mylene spent 12 years working in purchasing, program management and sales/ marketing roles for a leading aerospace industry manufacturer of hydraulic components.
