Keith Rice:
With over 26 years of experience in military
and corporate aviation, Keith brings a unique blend
of hands-on and supervisory operational expertise
to the Customer Support organization. Keith held
a wide variety of aviation positions with the USAF
from 1980 – 2002. Some of his positions
were Production Superintendent, Avionic/Electrical
Flight Chief, Quality Assurance Inspector and Weight
and Balance Technician, F-16 Aerospace Demonstration
Team Lead, Technical Liaison – Egyptian Air
Force, and F-117 Maintenance Superintendent. After
his Air Force career, he accepted a Quality Control
Inspector’s position at Savannah Air Center
in 2003. Gaining valuable corporate aviation
experience on Bombardier Global’s/Challengers,
Hawker’s, and Gulfstream III’s, IV’s,
and V’s.
His career continued in the
Quality Control area, in 2005 he came to Gulfstream
as an Airworthiness Inspector in the Savannah Completion
Center. While in the department, Keith spear-headed
several improvements in the Quality Control arena
and in the Savannah Completion Center Woodshop. His
current position as Production Liaison began in
2007. Keith is looking forward to the challenges
of his new position and the chance to increase
an already great customer support organization. His
responsibilities include the daily status of all
production aircraft with special emphasis on aircraft
that will be completed at Appleton, Brunswick,
and Long Beach. Monitoring and keeping the
Customer Program Managers informed of issues or
events that may impact the delivery of the aircraft
to the customer and sharing critical information
from the CPM organization with Production. Also,
he represent’s the CPM at production milestones
and escort’s customers in the production
facility. Keith is a FAA-licensed Airframe
and Powerplant mechanic and received his Bachelor
of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics from
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona, Florida.
