Customer Program Management

After starting in general manufacturing in a machine shop, Volker’s career in aviation started while working for a small aviation company building C-130 interior conversions and small corporate jet refurbs. While there, he earned his A&P and private pilot’s licenses. Shortly thereafter he was hired by K.C Aviation into their cabinet shop where he worked his way from craftsman to various lead positions, and eventually became a vendor liaison. Volker’s responsibilities increased having him taking on starting a new CNC router department. After Gulfstream acquired K.C. Aviation in 1998, Volker became a Customer Service Representative, and later a Customer Program Manager at the inception of its program. Volker worked for a while at General Dynamics Aviation Services’ - Dallas facility as a Senior Service Center Coordinator before returning to the Dallas CPM group. Volker is originally from Germany, which helps him appreciate and understand better the needs of our international customer. He holds an Associates Degree in Aviation Maintenance, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Technology
