Mark brings an interesting career path to the present position that he now holds as one of the senior field service representatives, working out of the Chicago Illinois area. Prior to joining Gulfstream in 1987, Mark spent over 8 years in the United States Navy . Upon joining Gulfstream, Mark started as an avionics technician, working on the beginning of the production of the GIV model. Gaining valuable experience on working both avionics and electrical problems, Mark quickly learned the GIV models systems. He was then promoted to avionics/electrical supervisor of the third shift production line. In 1989, Mark was asked to join the Field Service organization and given the opportunity to work in several areas of the U. S., before being placed on a permanent assignment to open up the Chicago Field Service Office. As a part of his duties in this position, he covered the support of all of the operators in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and Iowa. Mark earned his Airframe and Powerplant license to further his aviation credentials. He also has an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from the college of St. Leo University and an Associates in Electronics from Galvin State. His education has also continued to be furthered by having attended Flight Safety and Simuflight schools on the Gulfstream G100, G200, GII, GIII, GIV & GV models. As well, he has attended several advanced schools on Honeywell avionics systems. Mark continues to work out of the Chicago field office now covering operators in Illinois and Wisconsin. | |||||||||
