Dave has more than 20 years of aviation experience, including 4 years US Army Aviation, 6 years as a Gulfstream operator, and 11 years work experience with Gulfstream. He is currently on assignment in the Field Service Network as a representative for the Middle East and Africa, based out of Bahrain. Dave began his aviation career with the military as a helicopter repairman for the US Army. He then accepted a position with Gulfstream at the Long Beach facility. Starting out as a junior mechanic, he progressed to the position of service center crew chief. He continued to expand his abilities and became engine run qualified on the GII, GIII and GIV aircraft. Dave then took a brief leave from Gulfstream when he accepted positions with Gulfstream operators. He returned to Gulfstream in March of 1997 in Technical Operations. In March of 1999, Dave accepted his current position as a field service representative. He is now able to apply all of his previous work experience in a setting where it is of greatest benefit to Gulfstream. Dave is a licensed pilot with 2,000+ hours, constructed his own 2-place home-built aircraft, and enjoys flying when the opportunity presents itself.
