Tony’s 26-year aviation career began right after high school graduation when he entered the United States Air Force. He served 9-1/2 years on military aircraft until the end of Desert Storm, at which point he received an Honorable Discharge. After separation from the military, he worked at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia performing mechanical and electrical overhauls on UH-60 Blackhawks. In March of 1993, Tony joined Gulfstream as a Service Center Technician, where he performed maintenance and system modifications on in-service GI through GIV aircraft. After two years, he transitioned to the Completion Center Systems Check-Out Team where he was responsible for the thorough checkout of newly installed flight deck and cabin systems on GIVs and GVs. He also performed in-flight system testing during the first test flights prior to entry into service. Several years later, Tony became the Lead Avionics Technician for the Army’s C37 CLS at Andrews Air Force base in Maryland. In 2004, he became a Field Service Representative responsible for the military’s large cabin aircraft. This position has provided Tony with the skills necessary to become the Mid-Atlantic Region Field Service Representative as of July 2009. He has received extensive training through Gulfstream and Flight Safety International on models GI through GV and G350/G450/G500/G550 Electrical and Mechanical Systems. | |||||||||||
