Gulfstream Aerospace Names Jeffrey C. Lowe Regional Vice President, Asia And The Philippines

Savannah, GA, May 2, 2000 -- Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), announced today that Jeffrey C. Lowe has been named the regional vice president of sales for Asia and the Philippines. Lowe will report to Ernest Edwards, vice president, international sales.

"Asia and the Philippines are vigorous markets for long-range business aircraft," said Edwards. "Jeffrey comes to Gulfstream with tremendous knowledge of the area. He will improve our presence in these important regions, as well as develop new sales prospects through his area contacts and our established customer base."

Lowe has 17 years of sales experience in the aviation industry. Prior to joining Gulfstream, Lowe was one of Bombardier Aerospace Business Aircraft's directors of sales for Asia-Pacific. Previously, he had worked for the de Havilland Aircraft Company, The Boeing Company, Canadair and Bombardier's Regional Aircraft Division. He began his career as an engineer and moved into marketing and sales internationally in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Lowe earned a BASc in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto in 1983. He resides in Hong Kong with his wife, Kirsten.
