GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE APPOINTS BILL MCLEOD DIVISION VICE PRESIDENT, MID-SIZE ACCOUNTS
Savannah, Georgia - October 8, 2001 - Bill McLeod has been named eastern division vice president, sales, mid-size accounts, for Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. In his new role, he will be responsible for the sale of Gulfstream V-SP, Gulfstream V, Gulfstream IV-SP, and oversee the mid-size sales efforts for the Gulfstream 200® and Gulfstream 100® aircraft. He will manage the sale of midsize aircraft in the eastern United States and all of Canada.
A 19-year Gulfstream employee, McLeod most recently served as regional sales director for new aircraft sales in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Earlier in his career while based in Savannah, he served in a number of positions, including industrial engineering group lead, project engineer, program manager, business development manager and marketing programs manager. In 1993, he transferred to the Washington, D.C., area to serve as director of marketing for Gulfstream's government and military sales office. In 1994, he joined commercial sales as Regional Sales Manager, North American sales.

McLeod earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial management in 1983 and an MBA in 1990, both from Georgia Southern University.
