GULFSTREAM EXTENDS PACKAGE OF BENEFITS TO PRE-OWNED MID-SIZE AND SUPER MID-SIZE GULFSTREAM AIRCRAFT
Savannah, Georgia, Sept. 17, 2001 - Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE:GD), is offering the same package of benefits on previously owned Gulfstream 100® and Gulfstream 200® business jet aircraft that it has traditionally offered on the sale of other previously owned Gulfstream business jet aircraft.
The G100s, including all the in-service Astras, and all the G200s, previously known as the Galaxy, can now be sold and/or purchased through Gulfstream's Pre-Owned Sales Department.
"We're offering a wide range of benefits to buyers of previously owned aircraft through our Pre-Owned Aircraft Sales Division," said Jeff Cole, division vice president. "The package includes a limited warranty, pilot training for two pilots, maintenance training for one maintenance technician, and repainting the aircraft at no cost after delivery."
In addition, Gulfstream now offers brokerage services to individuals who seek either assistance in purchasing or selling a previously owned mid-size or super mid-size business jet aircraft.
"There are many benefits to entrusting an aircraft purchase or sale to Gulfstream's
Pre-Owned Sales Division," Cole said. "The limited pre-owned warranty we offer is just one example. Another is our extensive network of sales executives, known throughout the aviation industry. They are backed and supported by Gulfstream's world-renowned reputation."
