BRYAN MOSS POSTPONES RETIREMENT FROM GULFSTREAM

Savannah, GA, April 11, 2002 - Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), announced today that Bryan Moss, vice chairman, Gulfstream Aerospace, will indefinitely postpone his previously announced retirement plans. In early January 2002, Moss had announced his intentions to retire this April.
