GULFSTREAM APPOINTS RAYNOR REAVIS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT - MARKETING AND SALES
SAVANNAH, Ga., July 23, 2002 - Raynor Reavis has joined Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation as senior vice president - marketing and sales. In this new position, he will oversee worldwide sales of the company's business jet aircraft as well as lead the integration of the company's marketing and sales functions. Based at Gulfstream's new Sales and Design Center at Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas, Reavis will report to Gulfstream President Bill Boisture and joins the company's senior leadership team.
In addition to the worldwide sales team, the following positions will report directly to Reavis: vice president - marketing and communications, vice president- sales information, vice president - sales support and general manager of the Alliance facility.
A former employee of Gulfstream, Reavis served in various marketing and sales positions between 1994 and 1998. Most recently, he was senior vice president of sales for NetJets Inc., where he was responsible for sales of the entire fleet of fractionally owned aircraft and contributed significantly to NetJets' rapid growth and success during the past four years. Earlier in his career, Reavis served as senior vice president of sales at both Raytheon Aircraft and British Aerospace.
A Vietnam War veteran, Reavis is a former U.S. Marine Corps fighter pilot. He is a graduate of Baylor University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics.
