Industry's Diamond Certificate of Excellence Recognizes Highest Level of Maintenance Training
SAVANNAH, Ga., March 19, 2003 - For the second year in a row, Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has received the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Diamond Certificate of Excellence Award for each of its five aircraft service centers. The prestigious award recognizes the highest level of five levels of maintenance training.
Gulfstream's service centers - located in Long Beach, Calif.; Dallas; Appleton, Wis.; Savannah, Ga., and Brunswick, Ga. - became eligible for the employer Diamond Award when 25 percent of each site's eligible employees received a minimum of six hours of training during the calendar year.
