GULFSTREAM APPOINTS DR. DAN NALE, VICE PRESIDENT, GULFSTREAM G100, G150 and G200 PROGRAMS
SAVANNAH, Ga., Aug. 12, 2003 -Dr. Dan Nale has been appointed vice president, G100, G150 and G200 Programs, Gulfstream Aerospace.
Dr. Nale began his Gulfstream career in 1985 as a structural analysis engineer and held increasingly responsible positions within the company's engineering organization. Up until 1996 when he was appointed vice president, engineering, Dr. Nale had been responsible for numerous design- and engineering-related organizations, including Structures, GV Propulsion, Auxiliary Power Unit, Fuel Systems, Environmental Control and Pressurization Systems.
Before joining Gulfstream, Dr. Nale worked for two years as a stress engineer on the Space Shuttle Wing Program for Grumman. He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from The Citadel and holds both a master's and doctorate degree in engineering from the University of South Carolina. A Georgia-registered Professional Engineer (P.E.), Dr. Nale remains a member of engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi.
Dr. Nale has served as a member of engineering advisory boards for Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of South Carolina, Georgia Southern University and Mercer University. Additionally, he has served on the Aerospace Industries Association Executive Committee, the Savannah Business Education Technology Association (BETA) and the Intellectual Capital Partnership Program (ICAPP). Dr. Nale is a member of the Gulfstream Management Association, a local chapter of the National Management Association, and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
