SAVANNAH, Ga., Feb. 12, 2004 – Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has appointed Matt Hartnett as vice president, pre-owned sales, Gulfstream Aerospace.

“With more than 30 years of aircraft sales experience, Matt brings with him a truly in-depth knowledge of the industry,” said Raynor Reavis, senior vice president, marketing and sales, Gulfstream. “His familiarity with numerous models of business jets and his longevity and outstanding reputation in the industry will serve him well in this position.”

For the next six years, Hartnett owned and operated H & R International, an aircraft brokerage company in Denver. Following the sale of his business in 1987, he joined Bombardier as vice president of pre-owned aircraft sales, working there until 1999. For the past three years, Hartnett has been selling business jets for O'Gara Aviation in Atlanta.

Hartnett earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University. He holds an airline transport pilot's license and has completed 5,000 flight hours. For the past three years, Hartnett has served as secretary for the Hilton Head, S.C., chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
