GULFSTREAM TAKES MOCK-UP OF NEW G150 BUSINESS JET ON THE ROAD
Opportunity for Business-jet Customers to Experience Gulfstream's Newest Addition to Its Fleet

SAVANNAH, Ga., Oct. 11, 2004 - Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), will be taking its newest business jet aircraft, the wide-cabin, high-speed Gulfstream G150, on the road.

While the G150 is still in the early stages of manufacturing, Gulfstream has created a true-to-size mock-up on a trailer that offers customers more than just artist renderings and data on performance and physical size. Customers can walk into the cabin, sit down, feel the upholstery, examine the cabinetry up close, and experience the cabin’s lighting and sound systems. Pilots can take a seat in the cockpit, study the flight deck configuration and learn about the aircraft’s performance from Gulfstream sales engineering and completion experts who will be on hand.

“As the G150 is a completely new cabin size for Gulfstream, we planned this road show to maximize the exposure of its new, wider interior,” said Raynor Reavis, senior vice president, marketing and sales, Gulfstream Aerospace.

To accomplish this objective, Gulfstream will be taking the G150 mock-up to general aviation airports in some 50 locations across the country, from Burbank, Calif., to Bedford, Mass. The first phase of the tour will cover 16 locations in a 9-week period, beginning Oct. 18.

[NOTE TO EDITOR: A complete list of cities, FBOs and dates is attached for the first phase of the tour, along with a map.]

“Customers who visit the mock-up will know exactly what they can expect – in size, materials, and utility – of the G150 cabin and cockpit,” added Reavis, “By exhibiting the G150 mock-up across the country, we are providing new and current Gulfstream customers the opportunity to take a look at the latest addition to our fleet, which now features seven aircraft, at various price and performance points, to meet their varying transportation requirements.”

The G150 is expected to receive its Federal Aviation Administration Type Certificate in the first quarter of 2006 and enter service in the third quarter of the same year.

Inside the aircraft, the G150 can accommodate six to eight passengers in a choice of several cabin configurations. Its wide-body fuselage provides stand-up headroom, ample aisle space and generous leg- and head-room when seated.  Like all Gulfstream customers, G150 customers can choose from a wide selection of fine leathers, upholstery fabrics, wood finishes and floor coverings.

Powered by two Honeywell 731-40R engines, the G150 can reach speeds of up to Mach .875 and altitudes of 45,000 feet, well above commercial traffic and weather. At a long-range cruise speed of Mach .75, the G150 can fly four passengers nonstop up to 2,700 nautical miles, longer than any other aircraft in its class. That’s the equivalent of Bangor, Me., to London, England, or Los Angeles to Honolulu.
