Gulstream Presence in Asia-Pacific Increases as 16 Business Jets Were Sold in Region in 2005
New Gulfstream G450 and G200 Business Jets to Operate in Mainland China

SAVANNAH, Ga., Feb. 20, 2006 - Gulfstream Aerospace sold 16 business jets in the Asia-Pacific region in 2005, including the region’s first large-cabin, long-range G450 and the second large-cabin, mid-range G200 to operate in the People’s Republic of China.

“We’ve spent a decade cultivating business alliances in Asia and, based on recent sales activity in the region, it is obviously starting to pay dividends,” said Bryan Moss, president, Gulfstream. “Our Asian customers appreciate the value and efficiencies that business jets bring to a company. They also recognize the value of the Gulfstream brand in terms of quality, reliability, performance, safety and product support.”

During 2005, Gulfstream sold 12 new aircraft – eight G550s, one G450, one G350 and two G200s – and four pre-owned business jets – two GIV-SPs, one GV and one G200 – in the region. Gulfstream also participated in the first Asian Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (ABACE) held in Shanghai , China , this past August.

The G450 was purchased by Hong Kong-based Everbest Business Ltd., a joint venture between New World CyberBase Ltd. and C-Jet, a private company with a base in Hong Kong . The long-range G450 will begin operating out of Shenzhen , China , in 2007. The G450 can fly nonstop from Beijing to New Delhi or Beijing to Anchorage , Alaska .

“We look forward to taking delivery of this outstanding aircraft,” Mr. Simon Lo, chairman of New World CyberBase, said. “Gulfstream’s superb aircraft design and construction along with its reputation of standing behind its products made the G450 an easy choice.”

The second G200 to operate in mainland China was purchased recently by Brightclear Holdings, Ltd., a company under the Emperor Group of Hong Kong . The G200 also will begin operating out of Shenzhen later this year. The G200 will be used as a corporate aircraft supporting Emperor Group’s various businesses, including watches and jewelry, property development and investment, financial services, entertainment, publishing and printing, food and restaurant, hotels and cruise, home furniture and fashion.

“Following the expansion of our business into mainland China and Southeast Asia , we needed reliable transportation to ensure we could get from here to there without delay,” said Mr. Albert Yeung, chairman of Emperor Group. “We chose the G200 based on its safety, reliability, performance, seating capacity and price.”
