GULFSTREAM NOW OFFERS IN-SERVICE AIRCRAFT AIRCELL AXXESS™ EZ

AirCell Can Be Installed ‘In a Fraction of the Time It Takes To Install Traditional Onboard Satellite Communications Systems’

SAVANNAH, Ga., Oct. 16, 2006 – Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. now offers AirCell Axxess™ EZ installations to operators of in-service, large-cabin, Gulfstream business jets – G550, G500, GV, G450, G350, G400, G300 and GIV/GIV-SP. AirCell Axxess EZ is an easy-to-install, multi-channel and broadband-ready satellite telecommunications system.

Additionally, General Dynamics Aviation Services now offers AirCell Axxess EZ installations to operators of out-of-production GIII and GII aircraft as well as to operators of Challenger, Citation, Falcon, Hawker and Global Express aircraft.  Together, Gulfstream Aerospace and General Dynamics Aviation Services comprise the General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) Aerospace Group.

“We can install the AirCell Axxess EZ system in a fraction of the time it takes to install traditional onboard satellite communication systems,” said Larry Flynn, president, Gulfstream Product Support and General Dynamics Aviation Services.  “AirCell Axxess EZ can be installed using the existing wiring infrastructure. For operators who plan to replace their existing in-cabin telephone systems, AirCell Axxess EZ is an affordable, capable, and easily expandable solution.”

Certain existing cabin communications systems employ a specific frequency spectrum for air-to-ground telephone communication that, as a result of a mandate by the Federal Communications Commission, will be discontinued by 2010. AirCell Axxess EZ fills this void by providing connectivity to current and future onboard communications and data systems.

Designed for medium- to large-cabin business-jet aircraft, AirCell Axxess EZ is a fully functional office-style PBX system that enables up to eight handsets. It includes two Iridium satellite channels that provide the highest quality of voice services for air-to-ground and ground-to-air communication anywhere in the world.  The system also is expandable, allowing two additional Iridium channels.
