GULFSTREAM’S LUTON SERVICE CENTER RECEIVES EUROPEAN AVIATION SAFETY AGENCY APPROVAL TO PERFORM MAINTENANCE ON G200 BUSINESS JETS
Gulfstream’s United Kingdom Service Center Offers G200 Operators in Europe and the Middle East a Convenient Maintenance Location
SAVANNAH , Ga. , Nov. 7, 2006 – Gulfstream Aerospace recently received approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to provide comprehensive maintenance services for the large-cabin, mid-range Gulfstream G200 business jet at its service center in Luton , England .
“EASA’s approval comes at a time when the G200 fleet is growing in Europe and the Middle East ,” said Larry Flynn, president, Product Support, Gulfstream. “ Luton is the only company-owned Gulfstream maintenance provider in Europe and already has four G200-trained maintenance technicians. Two more will be finishing their G200 training later this month.”
The Gulfstream Luton Service Center , located at the London-Luton Airport , meets the maintenance needs of European and Middle Eastern business-jet owners. In addition to the G200, Gulfstream Luton provides comprehensive service for current Gulfstream models – the G550, G500, G450 and G350. It also provides service for legacy Gulfstream aircraft – the GV, GIV / IV-SP, GIII and the GII.
