GULFSTREAM IS FIRST U.S.-BASED REPAIR STATION APPROVED TO PERFORM MAINTENANCE ON HONG KONG-REGISTERED AIRCRAFT

Gulfstream’s Savannah Service Center Is The First U.S.-Based Repair Station To Receive Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department Certificate


SAVANNAH , Ga. , Dec. 7, 2006 – The Gulfstream Savannah Service Center is the first U.S.-based repair station to receive formal approval from the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD) to perform maintenance on aircraft registered in Hong Kong. With the HKAR-145 certificate, the Gulfstream Savannah Service Center has the authority to work on Gulfstream G200, G450 and G550 business-jet models registered in Hong Kong . Currently, there are six Gulfstream business jets – three G200s, one G450 and two G550s – registered in Hong Kong.

The Gulfstream Savannah Service Center provides comprehensive service for all current models of Gulfstream aircraft – the Gulfstream G550, G500, G450, G400, G300, G200 and the G150. Additionally, it provides service for owners of legacy Gulfstream aircraft – the GV, GIV / IV-SP, GIII and the GII.
