GULFSTREAM HIRES JOSEPH DRAKE AS DIRECTOR OF REAL ESTATE

SAVANNAH , Ga. , May 24, 2007 Gulfstream Aerospace has hired Joseph Drake as director of real estate. In this newly created position, Drake will be responsible for all of the Savannah-based business-jet manufacturer’s commercial real estate development and leasing activities. Gulfstream has six facilities in North America as well as one in Luton , England.

With 26 years of real estate experience, Drake has been involved in the development, design, construction and management of commercial office buildings, mixed-use office parks and residential facilities. He has worked on several high-profile projects and dealt extensively with local and state governments on behalf of his clients, which have included America Online, AT&T, Boeing, Booz-Allen, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., George Mason University and Prince William Hospital.

Before joining Gulfstream, Drake was executive vice president of Orr Partners headquartered in Falls Church , Va. , where he served as a consultant to Gulfstream on its Long-Range Facilities Master Plan, announced March 6, 2006 .

Drake is a 23-year member of the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties. He has served as a member of the Washington Airports Task Force and as president for the Committee for Dulles International Airport.
