INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS CENTER OF ABU DHABI ORDERS MID-RANGE GULFSTREAM G200 BUSINESS JET

 G200 To Transport VIP Charter Customers In or En Route To the Middle East

 

SAVANNAH , Ga., Nov. 12, 2007 – International Business Center, a new air charter service provider in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, has ordered a large-cabin, mid-range Gulfstream G200 business jet as one of its launch aircraft. The G200 will provide charter flights for dignitaries, corporate executives, government officials and wealthy individuals following its delivery to International Business Center in the first quarter of 2009.

International Business Center will begin operations in 2009. Mr. Ahmed Hassan Ahmed Al Housani serves as the company’s general manager.

“We plan to offer our customers the very best,” Al Housani said. “In addition to providing safety and reliability, the G200 features a roomy stand-up cabin that is the most spacious in its class. We were especially pleased with the fully equipped entertainment system, variety of interior configurations and selection of premium woods and fabrics.”

Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada 306A engines, the G200 can fly 3,400 nautical miles nonstop, easily connecting Abu Dhabi with Paris, Beijing or Bangkok. The G200 offers a large cabin with two distinct seating areas that can accommodate up to six passengers as well as a spacious baggage compartment that is both heated and pressurized.

The G200 features the lowest operating costs in its class, proven performance with a 99.75 dispatch reliability rating and is backed by Gulfstream’s award-winning product support network. Today, there are more than 150 G200s in service, throughout the world.
