SAVANNAH, Ga., March 10, 2008 – Gulfstream Aerospace has appointed Wayne Burk as the director of sales for materials services. Burk is responsible for over-the-counter parts sales in Dallas; Long Beach, Calif.; and Appleton, Wis. He also handles repair/overhaul, provisioning, WECO and parts program sales. Based in Lincoln, Calif., he reports to Bill Williams, vice president, product support materials, Gulfstream.
Burk, who has 12 years of business-development experience, began his aerospace
career as a U.S. Army attack helicopter pilot in Vietnam. He earned a bachelor's
degree in business management from Golden Gate University and a master's
degree in human resources management from Pepperdine University. Burk
also has an airline transport pilot rating.
