GULFSTREAM TO OFFER CUSTOMER AND PRODUCT SUPPORT AT THE 2008 SUMMER OLYMPICS IN BEIJING
Gulfstream Personnel Will Be Available Throughout the Olympic Games
SAVANNAH, Ga., August 7, 2008 – Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE:GD), will have personnel on-site and available to provide its customers with product support during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. The Olympic Games will be held Aug. 8 through Aug. 24. The team of representatives will be on-site from Aug. 6 to Aug. 25 and will be comprised of maintenance/avionics technicians, a quality control inspector and Field Service Representatives.
The Gulfstream team will be based at the Capital Airport in Beijing and will be operating in conjunction with Jet Aviation and Deer Jet.
In addition to the on-site support, Gulfstream will use its established parts support resources in Hong Kong, Singapore and Beijing.
Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, Rockwell Collins and Rolls-Royce plan to have personnel available for support as well.
