GULFSTREAM G150 BUSINESS JET RECEIVES TYPE CERTIFICATE VALIDATION FROM TRANSPORT CANADA
Approval Allows Operators To Register Mid-Cabin Gulfstream Aircraft In Canada

SAVANNAH, Ga., October 5, 2008 – Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE:GD), recently received Type Certificate Validation from Transport Canada for the wide-cabin, high-speed Gulfstream G150 business jet. The validation allows operators of the G150 to register the aircraft in that country.

The G150 joins its sister mid-cabin aircraft, the G200, which was certified in Canada on April 2, 2003.

“Gulfstream is always looking for ways to enhance the service it offers customers,” said Larry Flynn, senior vice president, Sales and Marketing. “Securing this validation simplifies the registration requirements for G150 operators in Canada, so we’re very appreciative of the Canadian authorities’ assistance in making this happen.”

In addition to Canada, the G150 has also been certified in Israel, the United States, Chile, Pakistan, the Philippines, Mexico and Ukraine. The aircraft also received Type Certificate Validation from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which means it can be registered in any European Union (EU) country.

The G150 entered service on Aug. 14, 2006. More than 50 G150 aircraft are in service throughout the world. The current G150 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) dispatch reliability rate is 99.82 percent. The aircraft has set more than 10 city-pair records.
