GULFSTREAM APPOINTS RICHARD J. CHIARIELLO SENIOR MANAGER OF CONTRACT MANAGEMENT FOR WORLDWIDE SALES
SAVANNAH, Ga., November 5, 2008 –Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has promoted Richard J. Chiariello to senior manager for contract management, worldwide sales. Chiariello formerly served as senior contracts manager.
In his new position, Chiariello leads the development, negotiation and administration of all the documents required for new and pre-owned aircraft sales to customers other than government agencies and large fleet operators.
Chiariello has been with Gulfstream for 16 years, serving as an inventory control specialist, contract specialist, senior contract administrator and contracts manager. Before joining Gulfstream, he was a private practice attorney for nine years.
Chiariello earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of South Carolina and a juris doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He reports to Stan Yockey, director of contract management and sales operations, worldwide sales.
