GULFSTREAM LAUNCHES PARTS WARRANTY PROGRAM
Effort Reduces Costs For Operators
SAVANNAH, Ga., February 25, 2009 – Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), is launching a two-year warranty program on parts.
“This program is part of our ongoing commitment to create value for Gulfstream customers,” said Mark Burns, president, Product Support, Gulfstream. “Our operators can reduce their costs by taking advantage of this warranty, which reflects the confidence we have in our products and the people who install them.”
The program, which goes into effect March 1, covers any Gulfstream part purchased by a Gulfstream operator through the company’s Over-the-Counter (OTC) sales group.
Additionally, any Gulfstream component purchased and installed at one of the Gulfstream or General Dynamics Aviation Services facilities will carry a two-year component warranty and a one-year labor warranty.
