SAVANNAH, Ga., October 3, 2011 - Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently named Jace Stone as director, Product Support Sales, for the western U.S. and western Canada. He reports to Greg Byrnes, vice president, Product Support Sales and New Business Development.
Stone is responsible for product support sales to Gulfstream and non-Gulfstream operators in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming; and Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan in Canada.
Prior to his promotion, Stone was a national sales manager for Gulfstream Product Support Sales in south Texas. A 27-year veteran of corporate aviation, including eight years with Gulfstream, Stone began his career at Garrett Aviation in Los Angeles. He served in various sales, management and executive positions at Garrett; BizJet International in Tulsa, Okla.; Elliott Aviation in Moline, Ill.; and Woodland Aviation in Sacramento, Calif.
Stone is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla. Along with being a private pilot, he is a licensed airframe and power plant mechanic.
