Gulfstream continues to develop and adapt new technology for its customers. In the last year alone, we provided the latest upgrade to the PlaneView™ flight deck with optional Certification Foxtrot; and we continue to offer Gulfstream's Enhanced Vision System™ (EVS), which provides head-up display of outside terrain in total darkness. We help operators take advantage of new technologies, so they fly more safely, with greater capability and enhanced reliability. We also provide engineering and modifications expertise, so older aircraft continue to operate efficiently.

As an Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) with on-site Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval authority, Gulfstream can streamline certification of new avionics installations. The FAA does not delegate certification authority lightly. Typically, only major original equipment manufacturer engineering organizations have the demonstrated capability and resources to earn ODA status. The benefits to our customers include the expeditious processing of certification paperwork and a rapid return to service for their aircraft.

This upgrade to Honeywell's FMZ-2000 Flight Management System brings regulatory compliance and enhanced navigation functionality for today's ever-changing airspace requirements.

Available for the GIV and GV, GAViS is mounted within the upper nose radome. The infrared camera provides enhanced imagery of airports, air traffic, terrain, taxiways and runway conditions, which allows for improved situational awareness at night and in low visibility conditions.

Composed of satellites and ground stations that improve the accuracy of the GPS, WAAS-LPV is an extremely accurate navigation system developed for civil aviation in North America. WAAS-LPV offers enhanced safety, increased flight planning options, cost savings and improved airport access.
