Based on Honeywell’s DU-885 display technology, Gulfstream has developed PlaneDeck™, a retrofit to the cockpit’s Primary Flight Displays, converting from cathode ray tube (CRT) to liquid crystal displays (LCD), while maintaining Gulfstream’s six-panel display configuration. Installed with minimum downtime for a retrofit containing multiple advantages, and backed by the worldwide support of Honeywell and Gulfstream*, PlaneDeck offers many of the same benefits and safety features of some of the most sophisticated cockpits in operation today.Advantages You'll See and Believe
Beyond the clarity of the display itself, PlaneDeck also offers the integration of XM® graphical weather, Jeppesen electronic charts and maps and video displays, all accessed through a cursor control interface. What’s more, PlaneDeck provides expandability for upcoming requirements such as WAAS-LPV, RNP, FANS1/A, and ADS-B (In).
*Qualification of Honeywell HAPP Warranty reduction as a result of display upgrade. Display swapping warranty includes three years coverage of components and one year for labor.
